when the answer could, in fact, be aliens

Normally, I’m the anti-aliens guy. A former professional wet blanket who will explain why a weird light in the sky or a strange signal is almost guaranteed not to come from some far away extraterrestrial civilization due to the laws of probability, the energy requirements, logistical challenges, or some detail that makes it unlikely. But in the strange case of the Wow! Signal, scientists are at a loss. They’re not saying that it’s aliens. They’re just saying, it may be a potentially viable explanation as the signal keeps raising more questions than it answers.
